A Friendly New Face at LBMS
What drew you to this role?
My husband, Cole, and I moved to Lake Bluff from the city eight years ago and we’ve loved being part of this community ever since. We have two children, George (17) and Kate (13), and I’ve spent the past several years as a stay-at-home mom while staying actively involved in our schools and community. The first time I walked into Lake Bluff Middle School, I knew it was special. It was obvious the teachers and administrators truly cared about the students and about each other. I remember thinking, I’d love to work here someday. When this opportunity came along, it felt like the perfect fit.
What are you most looking forward to this school year?
It’s hard to choose just one thing! I’m excited to get to know the students and their families, become part of the wonderful District 65 team and begin this new chapter for my own family. With a high school senior, an eighth grader and a new full-time job, it’s a year of big changes but more than anything, I’m feeling grateful and excited to be living and now working in Lake Bluff.
What do you hope students feel when they walk into the front office?
I hope they feel seen. Middle school is full of highs and lows, and I want to be a familiar, friendly face they know they can count on. If I can help make a student’s day a little easier or brighter, that’s exactly where I want to be.
