Meet 12-year-old Margaux Maga

Founder of Made by Margaux, Margaux is starting 7th grade and had a very successful summer selling her custom crochet creations. We asked her what drives her and brings her joy.

“The most fun part of having my own business is getting to see the joy and happiness on people's faces when they love what I created for them. I also love getting people's custom orders - they are so fun to make and I'm always excited to present the final product to them.”

On what inspires her:

“I first learned to crochet by watching a tutorial a bunch of times - probably 50! I started to sell because I wanted to share what I'd created with others.”

On her favorite creation:

“My favorite animal I've crocheted so far is Mr. Peel the Banana because I think he's really cute. I love the process of seeing it all come together.”
