Lake Bluff 12U Baseball Team’s Unforgettable Week in Cooperstown

The Lake Bluff 12U baseball team recently returned from a week at Cooperstown All Star Village in New York, proudly representing Lake Bluff while competing against 94 teams from across the country. The team finished the week with a 3-5 record, highlighted by two home runs, a hard-earned spot in the Silver Bracket and plenty of grit—including one player battling through a broken nose. Several players competed in skills competitions and siblings made memories of their own. The team extends its sincere gratitude to the coaches, families, volunteers, local businesses, and the entire Lake Bluff community whose fundraising efforts and support made this once-in-a-lifetime experience possible. While the final record tells part of the story, the players and families will carry the the friendships, sportsmanship, and memories made in Cooperstown for years to come.
